Many things have happened since my last journal entry about 100 years ago. Where oh where to begin?
School is almost finished. I'm making it and keeping my grades up despite being dead tired all semester. Good news is I won't be tired next week. I got laid off from Toyota (boycott them) two days ago.
I got engaged December 23, 2007. Kristina and I are expecting a boy due September 23, 2008. I couldn't be happier. We have our own apartment and perhaps in a few weeks we will be moving into another.
Since I still work for the temporary agency that put me in TTAI I can be reassigned to another facility. I may go work for a company called UGN. All I know right now about them is they work 40 to 85 hours a week and they pay 8 to 9 dollars an hour. They also have an air conditioned factory where the work consists of inputting into the machines running them and taking out the output. Not exactly beastly work. With time and a half OT I could make $967 a week before taxes. That would be pretty awesome. Would help us out a great deal to save for when our baby boy gets here. And since my fiance' started going back to work today she will be able to bring in a little over to 1k a month.
As for my art...
I have not had time to do much of anything. I try to check my watchlist as often as I can but I don't really have time to comment. But I have seen a lot of great stuff and that my friends on dA will continue to support me as they have since I joined three years ago.
Something I thought up last night while lying in my bed about to nod off:
Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has urged a group of supporters to put their money on Eight Belles, the only filly in Saturday's Kentucky Derby. Good. Now if we can only convince Barack Obama to bet on the only black horse and John McCain to put his money on the only horse with a bomb strapped to its underside we can settle this whole election business right now.
